DEMON SUITE scoops ICT Excellence Award

Longbridge company Scyron left stiff regional competition standing with its success at the coveted ICT Excellence Awards 2008.

The growing and successful company, which is headquartered at the Longbridge Innovation Centre and currently employs eighteen people, was highly commended in the ICT Excellence for Best Innovative Product category for its DEMON software.  

The DEMON suite launched in June 2008, allows police officers to view, analyse, prepare and present as evidence for court, all manner of digital information including video/CCTV, photographs, scanned documents, audio and mobile phone footage. The DEMON Suite developed in conjunction with West Midlands Police Service, comprises a number of software modules that work independently as well as together to make the extraction, analysis, preparation and presentation of digital evidence fast, easy-to-use and cost effective. This addresses the issue of extracting and presenting information from the mountain of CCTV and other potential audio-visual evidence.
